Astoria Voters: A Quick Guide Before November 3

Election Day is November 3. Here are the registration deadline, early voting dates, and official links Astoria neighbors can use to check where to vote.

Election Day is getting close, and early voting starts two weeks from today. If you live in Astoria, this is a good time to check that your voter registration has your current address and find out where you are assigned to vote. Polling places are based on your home address, so your location may be different from a friend’s or neighbor’s.

Dates to save

Registration deadline: Saturday, October 24. Applications for the November 3 election must reach the Board of Elections by this date. Find New York’s registration options and deadlines at https://elections.ny.gov/registration-and-voting-deadlines.

Early voting: Saturday, October 24 through Sunday, November 1. New York City voters are assigned one early voting location, so check yours before heading out. More early voting information is at https://elections.ny.gov/early-voting.

Election Day: Tuesday, November 3. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. The NYC Board of Elections has the full election details at https://www.vote.nyc/election/general-election-2026.

Use the NYC Board of Elections poll site lookup at https://findmypollsite.vote.nyc and enter your house number, street and ZIP code. Check the results before you go, including the early voting location. If you have moved recently, check that your registration has your current address too.

Need to register in person?

The Queens County Board of Elections office is at 118-35 Queens Boulevard, 11th floor, Forest Hills. It is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can call 718-730-6730 before making the trip. The state also offers online and mail registration options at https://elections.ny.gov/register-vote.
